The following is a step by step description of the application process:

Complete the online application form.
Step 2:
In addition to completing the online application, you are required to mail the following documents:
Official Transcripts
- Undergraduates: A copy of your current academic record
- Graduates: A copy of your undergraduate and current academic record
Recommendation Letters
Please include two referral letters from individuals who are qualified to evaluate your academic and leadership accomplishments, preferably on official letterhead. Please print and give the following recommendation overview to your two referrers. It includes a description of the scholarship and suggested focal points for your letter of recommendation. The referrer can mail the letter to the address provided with the recommendation overview. Be sure to follow up with both referrers before the application deadline to be sure both letters are mailed on time. If you prefer to mail your recommendation letters with your other documentation, ask your referrers to place the letter in an envelope with their signature overlapping the sealed envelope flap.
2008-2009 Student Aid Report (SAR) or Institutional Student Information Report (ISIR)
One of the following documents must be provided:
- Complete SAR Print Summary from the FAFSA web site
- Student copy of the complete SAR
- School’s complete ISIR
Please note that the SAR or ISIR must be for the 2008-2009 academic year and include the family’s adjusted gross income and the expected family contribution (EFC). Other documents that are missing any of these items are not acceptable.
All documents must be postmarked by June 30, 2008.
